Many people think that art is only for "born artists". I was one of them. As a child, I felt completely out of place in art class; the idea of sketching a school gym in pencil or painting a wooden plate was a nightmare for me. I was convinced that art just wasn't "my thing". But a chance encounter with an artist during a vacation changed everything. She insisted that art is accessible to everyone. While my first attempt with the primary colors yellow, red and blue wasn't exactly a masterpiece, it sparked a curiosity in me that I couldn't ignore.
Slowly but surely, I began to discover the joy of the creativity that lived within me, to awaken it from the depths and to love the resulting creative process.
Today, my works mostly come from a spontaneous impulse or a deep intuition. They are moments of inspiration that I often carry around with me for days before they finally find their way onto the canvas. And then they are allowed to "flow"...from the mind, from the body, from the hand...free and unlimited...wild or deliberate, colorful or monochrome...onto the canvas.
Be in the flow of life and walk the path of life from the heart!
