I am Margit Clemenceau, an adventurous Austrian who has always thrived living abroad, seeking excitement and beauty in world’s most stunning locations. Since my earliest years, I have been passionate about business, experiencing both successes and defeats. Realizing my ideas has always been more important than the outcomes. For me, challenges are exciting games to conquer.
I am fascinated by the mystical, vibrational side of Bali, having been initiated into Yoga in early age and spending continually time in India. With my first husband, we ran a famous yoga center in Paris.
In 1996, I established a home in Bali, being part of our family-run garment factory. I also maintained a residence in Mauritius and frequently traveled between the 2 islands. This led me to start an export business, building a chain of shops specializing in furniture, home decor, and clothing. Bali’s creativity, arts and crafts allowed me to bring my wildest dreams into existence.
A few years ago, I expanded my ventures by building guest houses in Bali. I cherish meeting and connecting with people from around the world, always eager to help if needed.
My biggest struggle has been balancing family life and business. Now, I am a happy grandmother of 4 wonderful grandchildren, a blend of French, Austrian and Indonesian heritage. My life is a testament to adventure, business acumen, and a passion for connecting and sharing experiences with others.
