A set includes an adapter and 2 cleaning tabs and instructions. The adapter fits exactly to the white 1/4 inch hose of the ionizer or to other drinking water systems. Please enquire about other adapter sizes for other connections first via email.
Instructions: Disinfection of the table water system, e.g. ionizer
Attention: Disinfection significantly shortens the lifespan of the filters! We always recommend disinfection before changing the filter!
The disinfection set allows you to carry out simple, effective chemical maintenance cleaning and disinfection of the water filter systems.
The disinfection set meets the requirements of DIN 6650-6.
Disinfection e.g. from ionizer (with built-in filter):
- 1. Close the valve or water supply. Remove the filter net in the adapter (if present).
- 2. Connect the disinfection adapter to the water pipe in front of the ionizer.
- 3. Place one or more cleaning tablets into the adapter.
- 4. Open the water supply again until some water comes out of the tap, then close it again and allow the disinfectant to take effect for a maximum of 20 minutes.
- 5. Rinse thoroughly until clear, odorless water without any cleaning agents comes out.
- 6. Close the valve or the water supply and replace the filters. If present, reinstall the filter net in the adapter. You can leave the adapter on the connection; the small filter also prevents the larger limestones from getting into the ionizer!
- 7. Open the water supply again. If necessary, rinse again until clear, odorless water comes out. Done!

Security warning
The cleaning tablets must not be allowed into the hands of children! If they come into contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water! Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid dust formation.
Do not breathe in dust. Wear suitable protective clothing. Provide an eyewash bottle or eye shower in the work area. Wash hands and face thoroughly after use. If swallowed, do not drink water because of the possible foaming effect. Please consult a doctor immediately!
