Dora's bottles and Biodora = Doraplast GmbH
Behind Doraplast GmbH in Neulengbach (Lower Austria) are the brothers Franz and Michael Sprengnagel, who have been producing bioplastics for the technical sector as well as for household items for more than 20 years.
Together with their partners, they have developed bioplastics that meet their high standards in terms of sustainability.
In addition to Biodora bioplastic products for the household, their products also include Dora's glass bottles.
The glass bottles are 100% manufactured in the EU (Germany). The cap is produced in Austria.
Since there are currently no manufacturers of stainless steel bottles in the EU, these, as well as the neoprene covers and the Biodora boxes, are manufactured in BSCI-certified companies in China.
BSCI = Business Social Compliance Initiative = Initiative to optimize social standards in a global value chain.
The bioplastic used in Biodora products comes mainly from Brazilian sugar cane mash from controlled cultivation, for which no rainforest is cleared. The items are then 100% produced in the EU (Austria and the Czech Republic).
Biodora products are made from so-called Arboblend Bio-PE, GMO-free, from renewable raw materials, without plasticizers, manufactured in the EU, without animal ingredients (vegan), without melamine and formaldehyde.
Biodora and Dora's products help us to produce significantly less plastic waste and thus protect the environment.
