Your very own Manuka tea from New Zealand
Since this tea is very special, I would like to give you some background information and a few tips on how to use it:
“JD” stands for Jonas + Drechsler, a good old friend of mine with whom I distribute the tea exclusively in Germany. So you can only buy it here or in New Zealand.
This Manuka tea in its design box is a very special and beautiful gift for tea lovers
It comes from the beautiful Golden Bay in the northwest of the South Island of New Zealand and I discovered it when I met the producers in person on one of my trips. Our JD Manuka tea is harvested by hand twice a year in a wild natural area. Each tea leaf is carefully selected by hand. When harvesting, care is taken to only take as much as the tree can still develop well. Our JD Manuka tea is therefore a real natural product. Our JD Manuka tea is said to promote good sleep, strengthen the immune system and has many other valuable properties. But the most important thing is: we think it simply makes you happy.
As with many herbal and green teas, Manuka tea only develops its taste and aroma after the second pot! However, its leaves are so productive that you can brew the tea at least 10-12 times!!! It's fantastic. A small portion of the tea can last you for days. We (and the manufacturers) recommend pouring hot water at around 90 degrees over the tea and letting it steep for 6-8 minutes each time.
